I really want Ithas Bow! And I was wondering how to get one.

Do I need to buy it from someone who has one or is there a way to obtain one.

Here it is:

Its a "Pre-order" Item by the way. Whats that mean too?

It's one of the pre-order items. If you can find the pre-order kit (chapter 1) that came from EB games, you can add the pre-order key to your account.

Any new character that you create will have one automatically or if you type in the command /preorder in a town (not mission / explore zone) it will show up in your inventory.

Wow Tempest Twilight was my 2nd chracter, she's long gone but

I would check for ebay off of search terms "guild wars preorder" or "guildwars pre order". That is the 2nd easiest item to find next to the census icon. Remeber you need the EB pre-order kit.

Just wondering, the bonus suck, the req is high, the damage isn't max, it costs a whole pre order, why would you want it.

The way I see it is like this:

Rangers lack Armour, so I want this bow for that extra bit of Armour. I play the Cripshot build so my build doesnt focus on dealing damage, more of an annoyance build. If I add a poisonous string and an Armour grip, then I will have 80 AL. Plus customising it will give me max damage anyway!

It use to be one of the most common items. The odd thing was, they did not sell you the kit, it only came if you did a pre-order but finding software on ebay from EB is a little too common...

I have done this with my Ithas Bow. The trouble is (imho) the extra +5 armor isn't worth the reduced firing time. I'm not sure what bow the firing rate is based on (search will reveal the thread, I'm sure), but there are quicker bows out there for annoyance builds.

Side note: Eventually, I went back to trapping...damage+conditions=fun!

That's the shittiest bow I've seen.
Why don't you buy a low req max dmg nice skin bow with or add a
armor protection upgrade to?

actully as far as i know if you do that and with the upgrade i'm thinking your talking about like lets say a fire DMG string or DMG strings it won't make it MAX DMG it will still have the same DMG just with fire, ice earth ECT DMG to the bow not make it max DMG

This bow carried me through about 1/2 the game, until I could find better. Would have been nice tho, if it had been max dmg tho

It's just 5 armor, it won't make a bit of difference, you can buy a +5 armor upgrade for around 1k anyways, and the pre order items can't be upgraded.
